Ghana’s President-elect, John Dramani Mahama, visited Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday, December 17, 2024.

The meeting took place at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja, where the two leaders came together for a brief discussion.

Dada Olusegun, Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Social Media, confirmed the visit was a courtesy call. He shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, stating, “The President-elect of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, paid a courtesy visit to President Tinubu at his residence, Presidential Villa, State House yesterday.”
