President Bola Tinubu has expressed optimism about the direction Nigeria is heading, acknowledging the challenges while promising better days for the nation.
At the graduation ceremony for the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 held at the National Institute for Security Studies in Abuja on December 7, Tinubu was represented by National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu. He spoke about the government’s ongoing efforts to bring change.
“Things are happening in our country today. People may not like us or agree with everything we do, but Nigeria is changing,” he said.
Tinubu addressed the tough economic challenges, describing them as significant but not insurmountable. He assured Nigerians that the government is working hard to improve the situation. “The economy is tough and the challenges are huge, but I can promise you, better days are ahead,” he added.
In addition to economic reforms, Tinubu emphasized his administration’s focus on security and justice. He warned those with questionable activities, whether in Nigeria or abroad, that they would face the consequences of their actions. “If you are a bad person, whether in Nigeria or outside, we will go after you and bring you to justice,” he warned.
President Tinubu’s message serves as a reminder of his administration’s determination to tackle the country’s issues while assuring Nigerians of a brighter future.
