Hon. Leke Abejide, a member of the House of Representatives for Yagba Federal Constituency, recently praised President Bola Tinubu, calling him the messiah that Nigeria needs. Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Abejide shared his belief that Tinubu would lead Nigeria to a better future and fix the country’s many challenges.

Abejide compared the current situation to how things were under the previous administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari. He expressed hope that by 2026, Nigeria will be in a much better place, and President Tinubu will receive praise from everyone for the positive changes made.

The lawmaker also discussed Nigeria’s economic recovery. He highlighted how difficult it was to even have N1,000 during the last administration, noting the large amount of money printed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. However, he believes the economy is now improving under Tinubu’s leadership and that issues like the exchange rate will be resolved in time.

Abejide emphasized the importance of facing the reality of the country’s situation rather than avoiding it. He remains optimistic that under President Tinubu, Nigeria’s economy will survive and grow stronger.
