The National Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) recently uncovered an illegal site for producing counterfeit alcoholic drinks. The operation was discovered on Offin Road in Balogun, Lagos Island, after NAFDAC acted on a complaint.

Upon investigating, NAFDAC’s team found a shop that had been repurposed to manufacture and package fake alcoholic beverages. This discovery highlights the agency’s efforts to protect consumers from unsafe and counterfeit products.
