On November 15, 2024, the remains of Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, the late Chief of Army Staff, were laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Abuja. A solemn funeral service was held at the National Christian Centre before his body was moved to the cemetery for interment.
