A tragic accident occurred on the Aba-PH Express Highway, close to Solace Mortuary and before Ntigha Junction. This devastating crash resulted in the loss of two lives and left several others injured.

The incident happened when a Church of Christ bus, which was full of passengers and cargo, was traveling from Umuahia to Aba. Sadly, two people died instantly at the scene, while two others were injured and are currently receiving medical attention. In a rare bit of good news, one passenger escaped the crash without any harm. The rest of the injured passengers were quickly transported to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Umuahia for further treatment.

At this time, the cause of the accident remains unknown, but it highlights the need for caution and awareness while driving on busy roads.
