Aisha Yesufu responded to Seun Kuti on X after he posted a video criticizing her.

In his video, Seun criticized Aisha for her efforts to advocate for African women’s freedom, saying African women already have more freedom compared to those in other regions.

Replying on X, Aisha wrote: “Seun Kuti @RealSeunKuti wants to use my name to trend since his karaoke business hasn’t made him popular like other musicians.

Imagine him being upset that I’m holding the government accountable instead of the private sector!

I don’t blame him though! If only his father had been more disciplined, we wouldn’t be dealing with the results of that lack of self-control!

People only book him because they want to see a copy of his father, even if it’s not the real thing.
