Do You Not Fear God? Man Questions Husbands Who Cheat and Blame Their Wives Instead of Feeling Remorse

Marriage comes with its ups and downs, but when a husband has an affair and blames his wife, it adds extra damage to the relationship. Shamseddin Giwa, a Nigerian marriage therapist, has spoken out about this, asking men to reflect on their actions.

Giwa explains that instead of feeling sorry for their behavior, some husbands who cheat try to shift the blame onto their wives. They make excuses for their infidelity, pointing fingers instead of admitting fault. Giwa urges these men to ask themselves if they truly have no fear of their Creator when they refuse to show regret for their wrongdoing.

Blaming your wife after you’ve cheated only makes the situation worse. It shows a lack of responsibility and deepens the emotional pain caused by infidelity. Owning up to the mistake and showing true remorse are crucial steps toward healing. By blaming your spouse, you are only damaging the relationship further and showing a lack of respect. True healing starts with taking responsibility for your actions.

“You had an extramarital affair, got caught by your wife and instead of showing remorse, you twist it, blame her and then decide to try and bully your way by keeping malice with her. Brother, say you don’t fear for your marriage, do you not fear your Creator?,” he wrote.
