Portable Criticizes Wizkid and Davido for Using Controversy to Stay Relevant

Controversial Nigerian singer Portable, known for his hit song Zazu, has recently made headlines by criticizing fellow artists Wizkid and Davido. He claims that both artists are relying on their public feud to stay relevant in the music industry.

According to Portable, Wizkid and Davido’s music is no longer as marketable as it once was. To promote themselves, they have resorted to creating drama and conflicts. In his Instagram story, he urged them to stop using each other for publicity, saying, “Don’t use your brother to shine, shine yourself. Your songs are not selling anymore; you’re using fights for promotion.”

Portable made it clear that he does not support either artist in their ongoing social media war. He stated, “I’m not with Davido, I’m not with Wizkid. I’m with myself.” He believes that he is more popular than both of them and wants to focus on his music rather than getting involved in their disputes.

This situation intensified when Wizkid started publicly criticizing Davido, labeling him “wack” and talentless. He even included Davido’s family in his remarks, but Davido has yet to respond to the ongoing insults.

Portable’s comments highlight a growing concern in the music industry about artists relying on controversy to maintain their fame. He encourages his colleagues to prioritize their music and creativity over drama, emphasizing that true talent should shine without conflict.
