In a serious case of alleged abuse in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Bola Tobiloba, a local landlord, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command. The arrest follows accusations that Tobiloba assaulted his tenant’s 14-year-old daughter.

The incident reportedly occurred last Friday, September 13, 2024. According to Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Police, the girl’s father reported the assault at around 2:15 p.m. The police were informed that the young girl had sustained significant injuries, including a tear in her private area, which led to noticeable bleeding.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered blood on the floor and on the girl’s clothing. This evidence, combined with the girl’s injuries, led to Tobiloba’s arrest. The victim was promptly taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

Tobiloba is currently in police custody as investigations into the assault continue. The Ogun State Police Command is handling the case with the utmost seriousness, ensuring that the young girl receives the necessary support and care.
