Bandits launched a tragic attack on Sunday in Bakinpah-Maro, a community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The attack targeted two churches, killing at least three worshippers and kidnapping 31 people, including a pastor.

The bandits, armed and in large numbers, stormed both the ECWA and Catholic churches around 10 am during service. According to Cafra Caino, a former chairman of Kajuru LGA, the attackers shot randomly, causing chaos. Among the abducted is Pastor Bernard Gajera, who was leading one of the churches.

At the time of this report, efforts to reach the Kaduna State Police for details or an official statement have been unsuccessful.
