“I haven’t Said This Before But I Unfortunately Can’t Carry my Own Children” – Selena Gomez Reveals

In a heartfelt interview, Selena Gomez recently revealed that she’s unable to carry her own children due to health complications. This revelation came as part of her Vanity Fair cover story, where the 32-year-old actress opened up about the emotional journey she’s been through.

Gomez, who has been battling lupus since 2013 and underwent a kidney transplant in 2017, explained that her health conditions make it dangerous for both her and a baby if she tried to carry a pregnancy. “I unfortunately have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy,” she shared, adding that it was a difficult reality to accept.

For the first time, Selena publicly addressed this personal challenge, revealing the grief she experienced as she came to terms with not being able to have a child in the way she had always imagined.

Despite this, Selena expressed her excitement about the prospect of becoming a mother one day. She is grateful for the alternatives available, such as surrogacy and adoption, which she now sees as beautiful possibilities. “It’s not necessarily the way I envisioned it,” she said, but she has come to peace with it. “I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me.”

Selena’s journey is a reminder that there are many different paths to parenthood, and her openness about her struggles may help others facing similar challenges feel less alone.
