In a shocking incident, chaos erupted in Ibadan as a petrol tanker exploded, causing widespread destruction in the Iyana-Ajia area of Egbeda, Oyo State. The explosion occurred near the ongoing construction of the Iyana-Ajia bridge on the Ibadan-Ife Expressway.

The fiery accident destroyed two articulated trucks, an 18-seater bus, two commercial taxis, and three motorcycles. All affected vehicles were turned to ashes as the fire raged on.

Witnesses at the scene described the devastation, but thankfully, no lives were lost in the incident. Authorities are currently working to control the fire as more information is expected soon.
