The Bayelsa State Police Command has arrested a 24-year-old man, Godgift Bai, for allegedly sharing a n*d£ video of a young woman on social media. The arrest took place in Yenagoa on September 3, 2024.

ASP Musa Mohammed, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, shared that the arrest followed a thorough investigation conducted by the Cyber Crime Unit, under the orders of Commissioner of Police, Alonyenu Francis Idu.

The police have reaffirmed their commitment to stopping cyberstalking and the exploitation of vulnerable people. They also urged the public to avoid participating in any form of online exploitation.

The suspect is set to be charged in court soon.
