Governor Mbah Honors Mike Ejeagha by Renaming Enugu Road After Him

Governor Mbah recently paid a visit to the renowned cultural icon, Mike Ejeagha, as part of his efforts to celebrate Enugu State’s rich heritage. During his visit, the governor also commissioned four new roads in Abakpa Nike. In a special tribute to Mike Ejeagha’s significant contributions to the culture of Enugu, the Obinagu Road, which leads to his home and was reconstructed earlier this year, has been renamed Mike Ejeagha Road.

Governor Mbah emphasized the importance of recognizing and honoring those who have shaped the history and identity of Enugu State. As a mark of respect and appreciation, the government has pledged to take care of Mike Ejeagha, ensuring his well-being as part of their mission to preserve the legacies of the state’s cultural legends.

The governor also reassured the people of Abakpa and Enugu State that more development projects are on the way. Contracts have been awarded for the construction of 141 roads and 20 rural roads, with Abakpa included in these plans. Additionally, the dualization of Penocks Junction on the Enugu-Onitsha Road, extending to Opi-Nsukka, will begin soon, as the contract has already been awarded. Governor Mbah reaffirmed his commitment to transforming Enugu State, promising more road projects and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the residents.
