The Nasarawa State Police Command made a significant breakthrough in their fight against drug-related crimes by arresting a suspected drug dealer and recovering 15 bags of Indian hemp. The arrest, which took place on August 31, 2024, underscores the ongoing efforts of the police to combat crime in the state.

The suspect, Saturday Gabriel, a 43-year-old man from Edo State, was apprehended following a tip-off. Police received information that a Toyota Camry with two occupants, suspected of engaging in criminal activities, was heading towards the Nasarawa Toto area. Acting swiftly, officers from the Toto Division set up strategic checkpoints to intercept the vehicle.
