Chidinma doesn’t deserve the h@te she was subjected to – New Miss SA Mia Le Roux Says

In a heartfelt interview with Newzroom Afrika, the newly crowned Miss South Africa, Mia Le Roux, made waves by standing up for her fellow contestant, Chidinma Adetshina, who recently faced harsh criticism during the Miss South Africa pageant.

Mia Le Roux didn’t hold back in expressing her support for Chidinma, highlighting the strength, beauty, and power that Chidinma brought to the competition. “It was extremely hard for us because each one of us personally knows and loves Chichi. We truly believe that she did not deserve the hate, as we know she’s phenomenal, powerful, and beautiful in her own right. She deserved her spot on Miss South Africa,” Mia passionately stated.

Mia emphasized that as the new Miss SA, she is determined to promote unity and inclusivity across the nation. She made it clear that she does not support division among people and believes that South Africans can do better when it comes to supporting and including one another. “I stand for unity. I do not stand for people being divided. Because she was excluded, and that is not okay,” Mia added.

Mia Le Roux’s comments are not just a defense of her friend but a powerful call to action for all South Africans. She is urging everyone to come together, support one another, and create an environment where everyone feels included and respected.

As Miss South Africa, Mia’s mission is clear: to lead with love, compassion, and unity, ensuring that everyone has a place and a voice in the nation. Her stand for Chidinma Adetshina is a testament to the values she hopes to promote during her reign.

Mia said,

“It was extremely hard for us because each one of us personally knows and loves Chichi. We truly believe that she did not deserve it, as we know she’s phenomenal, powerful, and beautiful in her own right. She deserved her spot on Miss South Africa,”

“I stand for unity. I do not stand for people being divided.

So, I do think we can do better in that aspect to support and include one another. Because she was excluded, and that is not okay.”
