Queen Obukoko, a 30-year-old Nigerian woman, recently shared her story of growing up with both male and female sex organs. She was raised as a girl, despite noticing a penis-like growth in her groin. Her parents initially believed it was a benign issue, but it was only when she turned 15 that she fully understood her unique condition.

Obukoko’s realization came when she could urinate standing up like boys, which led to embarrassment and ridicule from her peers. After the incident was filmed and shared online, she became more conscious of her condition and began avoiding public restrooms.

Her condition also affected her romantic relationships. Men often abandoned her or tried to blackmail her when they learned about her situation. Eventually, Obukoko turned to relationships with women, resulting in two children.

Her first partner left her, taking their son because she was uncomfortable with Obukoko’s intersex status. Despite the separation, Obukoko still sees her son every few months. Her second partner recently gave birth to a baby girl, who may also be intersex. Obukoko is concerned about her daughter’s future and is unsure about how to proceed with potential medical interventions.
