Travelers on the Abuja-Kaduna highway are experiencing significant delays due to a protest blocking the road near Suleja. The demonstration has caused severe traffic congestion, particularly around Gauraka junction.
Abubakar Ibrahim, an Abuja resident heading to Kaduna, reported being stuck for over two hours. Ibrahim left Zuba town before 10 am, but his vehicle has been immobilized due to the protesters.
The traffic jam extends for several kilometers, affecting areas between Aluminum Village and the nearby Zuma military barracks. Despite the presence of a few policemen, their attempts to manage the situation have been largely unsuccessful due to the large number of protesters.
