In a deeply disturbing case in Abuja, Rahimat Salaum has been apprehended by the police for allegedly murdering her husband in the Pegi area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The arrest took place on July 29, 2024, following a series of dramatic events that have left the local community in shock.

According to the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, Rahimat was initially caught trying to flee the scene with her husband’s belongings. This suspicious behavior led to her swift capture by officers from the Pegi Police Division. During the subsequent interrogation, Rahimat confessed to the crime, revealing that the murder occurred after a heated argument with her husband.
