Today, a devastating plane crash in Nepal has claimed the lives of 18 people. The Saurya Airlines aircraft, which had 19 passengers and crew members on board, was involved in the tragic incident during its takeoff from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
The plane was scheduled to fly to Pokhara for routine maintenance checks. According to airport officials, the aircraft skidded off the runway at approximately 11 am. It then crashed into a field located to the east of the runway and erupted into flames.
