A heartbreaking situation has unfolded in Imo State, Nigeria, where a mother, Ikechi Kelechi, is desperately seeking help after her 8-month-old baby was kidnapped. The infant was taken by a man named Uche and others who are still missing.

According to reports, Kelechi was ambushed while delivering a drug supplement she sells, in Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA. Activist Chikezie Erege, who became involved after learning about the incident, has confirmed that a search for the baby has begun. Erege has called on security agencies to help find the child and catch the kidnappers.

The victim’s lawyer, U.D. Ibeneto Esq., has submitted a formal complaint to the Commissioner of Police in Imo State, CP Aboki Danjuma. The petition requests urgent action to arrest the suspects, including Uche and Dr. Obinna, who are said to be traditional medicine practitioners from Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA.

The community and authorities are urged to join in the search and assist in bringing the baby back safely.
