Isaac Balami Former Labour Party Presidential Campaign Manager Returns to APC

Isaac Balami, a Nigerian aviation expert and youth activist, has left the Labour Party (LP) and rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC). Balami, who was the National Deputy Campaign Manager for Obi/Datti in the 2023 presidential election, announced his decision on Wednesday while speaking to journalists in Abuja.

Balami left the APC in 2023 because he was unhappy with the Muslim-Muslim ticket of President Bola Tinubu and his vice, Kashim Shettima. However, he now says the current administration has proved him wrong.

He explained that his main reason for leaving was the Muslim-Muslim ticket, but he now realizes it doesn’t matter. Balami, who was once the National President for Aircraft Pilots and Engineers, praised President Bola Tinubu for his work with the Middle Belt and for appointing credible Nigerians, focusing on fairness.

Balami said, “When I left, I didn’t see this. Now, I see a better party and a better government. I believe Nigeria will thrive in a few years, and it’s important to support the APC in its efforts to improve the country.”

After consulting with various leaders, the Middle Belt caucus, his parents, and his family, Balami decided to resign from the Labour Party and return to the APC.
