President Tinubu has named Esther Walson-Jack as the new Head of the Civil Service, starting August 14, 2024. The announcement was made by Tinubu’s spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale.

Esther Walson-Jack has been a Federal Permanent Secretary since 2017 and has worked in various ministries. She will take over from Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, who is set to retire on August 13, 2024.

President Tinubu thanked Dr. Yemi-Esan for her service and urged Walson-Jack to perform her duties with innovation, integrity, and strict adherence to the rules and regulations of the Civil Service.
