The UAE has agreed to lift the visa ban on Nigerians after discussions with the Nigerian government, according to the Information Minister, Mohammed Idris.
Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, announced this news following a meeting of the Federal Executive Council led by President Bola Tinubu.
The minister stated that after ongoing negotiations with the UAE about the travel ban on Nigerians, an agreement has finally been reached today.
Minister said,
“Nigeria has been discussing with the UAE over the ban on Nigerians traveling to that country, but today an agreement has been reached on that.
“Now Nigerian passport holders can be issued visa to travel to United Arab Emirates.”
