Early on Saturday morning, at approximately 7:00am, a two-storey residential building located in Phase 2, site 2, Kubwa Abuja, collapsed.

Originally operating as the Al-Hilal hotel, the building had been converted into residential apartments before the collapse.

At the time of reporting, emergency responders and security personnel had already arrived at the scene to manage the situation and assist any affected individuals.
