Denola Grey, a well-known media figure, criticized African parents for pressuring their children into marriages. He expressed his views during a recent podcast, stating that many marriages are unhappy and likening some to forms of slavery.

Grey emphasized that he believes most marriages are not based on genuine happiness. He argued that when he chooses to settle down, he will prioritize marrying someone he loves rather than someone he simply tolerates.
