The social media drama between controversial singer Portable and fellow artist Davido has taken a new turn.
Portable has once again criticized Davido after he was unfollowed by him on Instagram.
The conflict began when Portable accused Davido of giving him poor advice during a recent dinner they had in the United States.
Portable claimed that Davido, who is signed with Sony Music, advised him against signing with the label and instead recommended he join Empire.
The ‘Zazu’ singer suggested that Davido’s advice was unfair, as he also aims to win a Grammy like Davido but feels that joining Empire may not help him achieve that goal.
Following his accusations, Davido unfollowed Portable on Instagram on Thursday.
In response, Portable said he doesn’t need Davido’s support or follow to be a successful artist or to win a Grammy.
He implied that Davido unfollowed him because he was no longer useful to him.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Portable said: “They tried to bring me down and unfollowed me quickly because I was no longer beneficial to them. Whether you help me or not, I will do my tour; whether you follow me or not, I will win a Grammy.”
