Al Nassr’s CEO, Guido Fienga, confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will stay with the club next season, despite a disappointing end to the 2023-24 season.
Al Nassr finished second in the league, trailing local rival Al-Hilal by 14 points.
They also lost the King’s Cup final to Al Hilal in a penalty shoot-out on Friday.
This meant Ronaldo and his team ended the season without any trophies.
However, Ronaldo had a successful year individually, breaking the record for most goals in a Saudi Pro League season with his two goals against Al-Ittihad in the final league match.
Fienga, speaking to Sada Al-Mala’eib after the King’s Cup final, confirmed that the Portugal captain will stay with Al-Nassr, and said that the 39-year-old now “bleeds yellow,” referring to the team’s main color.
