Protesting Youths Burn Down INEC Office in Benue State
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), demonstrators set fire to its office, which is situated in the Sankara neighborhood of Ukum Local Government Area in Benue State. On Wednesday, July 3, Sam Olumekun, the National Commissioner and Chairman of INEC’s Information and Voter Education Committee, issued a statement verifying the incidence.
