Warri-Itakpe Rail Service Re-opens after Accident Incident

Following a recent accident, the rail transit service between Warri and Itakpe has recommenced operation many commuters were buying tickets at the Ujevwe train station early on Monday morning, around 6:45m excited to get back on the train. A coach on the Itakpe train derailed at the Major Gen. David Ejor rail station on Thursday of last week. Although fortunately no one was hurt, the event forced the suspension of train services on the Warri-Itakpe track on Friday in order to make time for essential maintenance and safety inspections.
