Former Bayern Munich stars Lothar Matthaus and Markus Babbel have criticized Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior ahead of their Champions League quarter-final match at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Vinicius has often been in the spotlight for his behavior during games, including his celebrations and reactions on the pitch.

Speaking on Sky90, Matthaus said the Brazilian player tends to provoke opponents, while Babbel complained about how he reacts after being fouled.

Matthaus said Vinicius is a very talented player but believes he often annoys other players and reacts too much after tackles.

Babbel also shared his opinion, saying that despite Vinicius’ skill, he does not like how the player exaggerates fouls by rolling on the ground repeatedly.
