FBI Uncovers Troubling Clue in Attempted Trump Assassination Case

In a recent update on the investigation into the shooting attempt on former President Donald Trump, FBI Director Christopher Wray revealed some unsettling details. The attacker, 20-year-old Thomas Crooks, searched online about President John F. Kennedy’s assassination just a week before the attack. This search included a query about the distance between JFK and his assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald.

The shooting occurred at a rally in Pennsylvania on July 13, where Crooks fired at Trump from about 400 feet away. One person was killed, and Trump and two others were injured. Despite examining Crooks’ cellphone and other electronic devices, the FBI has not yet found a clear motive or ideology behind his actions.

The search term about JFK’s assassination adds a chilling element to the investigation. It suggests Crooks might have been influenced by the historic assassination of Kennedy in 1963. The FBI is still working to understand the full extent of Crooks’ motivations and the reasons behind this violent act.
