Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr has observed that Nigeria and the United Kingdom share many cultural similarities. In a recent interview with Capital Xtra in London, she expressed how the two countries are much alike.

During the interview, she also reflected on her experience touring with American R&B star Chris Brown.

She shared,

“Going on tour with Chris Brown was eye-opening,”

“It was an incredible experience to see how he connects with his fans and to be part of such a massive production. I learned a lot from watching him perform and interact with the audience.”

Ayra Starr didn’t shy away from discussing her musical inspirations. She mentioned that she wished she had written the song “B**ch Better Have My Money” by Rihanna and “Snooze” by SZA. “Both songs have such powerful lyrics and vibes. They really resonate with me as an artist,” she said.

Looking towards the future, Ayra Starr revealed her aspirations to relocate to New York. “I would love to move to New York. The city has such an amazing energy and is a hub for creativity and music. I feel like it would be a great place for me to grow as an artist,” she stated.
