In a troubling incident in Kaduna State, bandits abducted four members of a family in the Kasangwai area of Kagarko Local Government. The attack took place on Thursday night, around 10:43 pm, when the bandits stormed the home of Alhaji Saleh Adamu, a local cattle dealer. Alhaji Adamu had just returned from the SCC village market in Kachia Local Government Area when the armed bandits, carrying AK-47 rifles, invaded his home.
When local vigilantes heard the gunfire, they rushed to the scene in an attempt to stop the abduction. However, the bandits overpowered them, resulting in the tragic death of one vigilante member. Despite their efforts, the bandits succeeded in abducting Alhaji Adamu, his wife, and their two children.
The bandits later reached out to the family and demanded a ransom of N30 million for their release.
