Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), has responded firmly to the kidnapping of the principal of the church’s free school in Jos. The kidnappers, after abducting the school principal, demanded a hefty ransom of N50 million for his release.

In a post on the church’s official Facebook page, Pastor Chinyere condemned the kidnappers’ demand, making it clear that he would not use church funds—such as tithes and offerings—to pay for the release of the principal. He firmly rejected the idea of giving in to their demands.

Instead of paying the ransom, Apostle Chinyere extended an offer to the kidnappers. He urged them to release the principal and surrender their weapons. The pastor called on the abductors to seek repentance and offered them a chance to turn their lives around. He promised to help by providing free rehabilitation, skill training, prayer, and spiritual guidance.

The OPM leader emphasized that God’s love is available to all, even those who have gone astray. He encouraged the kidnappers to take advantage of this opportunity for a fresh start and a second chance at life. This compassionate appeal highlights the church’s commitment to helping not only those in need but also those who may have chosen a destructive path.

Apostle Chinyere’s message serves as a reminder that, while the church will not engage in criminal acts like paying ransoms, it remains open to helping those who are willing to change and seek redemption.

“Just recieved news that the principal of OPM free school JOS., A free school that is helping northern children to go to school FREE OF CHARGE has been kidnapped and they are asking for 50 million.

“I know they are reading this my messages,I NO GO GIVE SHISHI.,You better release him so you don’t face the ANGER OF GOD because l can never ever use tithes and offerings which is GOD’s money to pay ransom to kidnappers. NEVER.

“You can release him today, come to OPM CHURCH, surrender your guns and be rehabilitated FREE OF CHARGE. And | will pray for you. GOD IS GOOD..And learn different skills FREE OF CHARGE. GOD loves you and can give you a second chance.”
