Nollywood actress Regina Daniels recently addressed comments about her past relationships, revealing she stayed a virgin until her marriage to her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. Known for her candid personality, Regina’s post on Instagram cleared up some misconceptions following her statement about dating several people before marriage.
She shared that although she had “a lot of boyfriends,” she decided to keep her virginity as a personal promise until her wedding day. Regina explained that she wanted young girls to understand that having male friends doesn’t mean one has to cross certain boundaries.
“Hey everyone,” Regina wrote on Instagram, “I want to clarify the 20 boyfriend thing to both soothe my husband and educate young girls. Having male friends willing to help you doesn’t mean you owe them your body.”
She shared this perspective not only as a role model but also as someone who believes in empowering young women to make their own choices. “I did have a lot [of boyfriends] but I made a promise to keep my virginity until marriage. And guess what? I did! It’s a big flex,” she wrote, reminding her followers that their values matter in their relationships.
Regina’s openness reflects her belief in setting boundaries and staying true to oneself. She added, with humor, “What did you guys expect? It was your little beautiful sweetheart, Regina Daniels – of course, men and women would admire! So everyone chill, please.”
Through her story, Regina encourages young women to make choices based on their values and to understand that self-respect plays a big role in relationships.
