Mrs. Adewole Taiwo Florence, a 34-year-old Nigerian woman, is seeking financial help to cover the cost of her cancer treatment. She needs N1.8 million to undergo the necessary medical procedures. Florence has been battling recurrent right breast cancer and is appealing to both the Ekiti State Government and generous Nigerians to come to her aid.

This appeal was made in a letter written to the Office of the Wife of the Ekiti State Governor, signed by Dr. Abiyere O.H, a Consultant General at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Ido-Ekiti. According to Dr. Abiyere, Mrs. Florence has been receiving treatment at the hospital and urgently needs further medical care, which comes with significant costs.

Florence’s case has drawn attention because she requires urgent medical intervention to improve her health and quality of life. Her situation highlights the financial challenges many face when dealing with serious health issues like cancer.

Mrs. Florence is hopeful that with the support of kind-hearted Nigerians and the government, she will be able to afford the necessary treatment to continue her fight against breast cancer. Every donation, big or small, can make a difference in helping her get the care she needs.

“She has been under our care for sometime now, however, she has not been regular on treatment required due to financial constraint. Hence the need to solicit for financial assistance for care.

“The breakdown of care is as follows: Surgery = N250,000, Chemotherapy = N300,000, Radiotherapy = N850,000 and Miscellaneous = N400,000 amounting to a total of N1,800,000.
