The FCT Police Command has firmly denied recent rumors circulating online about a planned abduction or attack at the University of Abuja. “The attention of the FCT Police Command has been drawn to false reports making the rounds on social media platforms. We want to assure the public that there is no truth to these rumors of a planned attack or abduction at the University of Abuja,” SP Adeh said in the statement.
The police spokesperson highlighted that the individuals responsible for spreading these rumors seem to be intentionally trying to cause alarm within the community.
