VDM Responds to Falz, Says He Should Have Addressed His Letter to Bobrisky Instead (Video)

In a recent development, social critic Very Dark Man (VDM) has issued a firm response to Nigerian rapper Falz after receiving a letter from his legal team. The letter, which was sent on Wednesday, September 26, demanded an apology and retraction of VDM’s remarks regarding a controversial audio clip.

The audio in question features Bobrisky allegedly claiming that he reached out to Falz and his father for help with securing a presidential pardon. According to VDM, the clip highlights corrupt practices, including Bobrisky’s claim that he avoided prison by paying N15 million to the EFCC to drop money laundering charges.

VDM took to Instagram this morning to address the situation. He explained that he had a phone conversation with Falz on Wednesday, during which he assured the rapper that he had not defamed him. He even pointed out that Falz, being a lawyer, could represent himself in court without needing to hire legal counsel.

Standing by his comments, VDM stated, “I’ll see you in court,” as he made it clear he had no intention of retracting his statements.

VDM went on to compare Falz’s and Bobrisky’s versions of events. He noted that while Falz confirmed the call between him and Bobrisky, there were discrepancies in their stories. Falz claimed Bobrisky asked him for N3 million, while Bobrisky allegedly said that Falz had asked for N10 million for his father, a lawyer.

VDM questioned why Falz directed the legal letter toward him, stating that the rapper should have addressed Bobrisky instead, requesting that he clear up the confusion surrounding the audio recording.

VDM emphasized that he shared the audio to expose Bobrisky’s claims of bribery and special treatment by law enforcement. He concluded his response by raising the question of how Bobrisky was able to make phone calls from inside the prison.

The situation has sparked significant public interest as VDM remains unshaken by the legal threats and continues to assert his stance.
