Chief Emami, the Ologbotsere of Benin Kingdom, has vowed to challenge his suspension, insisting that he will fight the decision to the very end. He described the suspension as unjust and expressed his determination to clear his name and protect his position within the traditional institution.

Speaking through his spokesperson on Friday, Emami emphasised that he remains committed to the Benin monarchy and its values. He stated that he would pursue all legal and traditional avenues available to contest the suspension and ensure that justice is served.

The Ologbotsere, a key figure in the Benin Kingdom’s traditional hierarchy, noted that his dedication to the development and welfare of the kingdom remains unwavering. He appealed to supporters and well-wishers to remain calm and patient as the matter unfolds through proper channels.
