An early morning fire outbreak has destroyed properties worth millions of naira at a hotel in Ogbomoso, Oyo State. The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of the day, throwing the area into panic as residents and hotel staff struggled to contain the situation.

Eyewitnesses said the fire spread rapidly through parts of the hotel before help could arrive. Several rooms, furniture, and valuable equipment were affected by the inferno, leaving the building badly damaged. Thankfully, no loss of life was reported during the incident.

Officials of the Oyo State Fire Service later arrived at the scene and were able to put out the fire, preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings. While the exact cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed, investigations have commenced to determine what led to the outbreak.

Hotel management expressed sadness over the incident, describing it as a huge financial setback. They, however, thanked emergency responders and members of the public for their swift intervention, while appealing for support as they work to recover from the losses.
