APC chieftain alleges exclusion of members from Zamfara e-registration

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State has alleged that many party members were unfairly excluded from the ongoing electronic registration and revalidation exercise in the state. The party leader said several loyal members were unable to register due to what he described as deliberate actions by certain party officials controlling the process.

According to him, the exercise, which is meant to strengthen the party and update its membership database, has instead become a tool for marginalisation. He claimed that registration centres were either poorly equipped, selectively operated, or completely shut in some communities, making it impossible for genuine members to participate.

The APC chieftain warned that continued exclusion could deepen internal divisions and weaken the party ahead of future elections. He urged the national leadership of the APC to intervene quickly, investigate the complaints, and ensure the registration process is transparent, fair, and accessible to all members across Zamfara State.

He also called on party supporters to remain calm and avoid actions that could damage the party’s image, stressing that unity and fairness are essential for the APC’s growth. The chieftain said the party must correct the situation to rebuild trust and prevent avoidable conflicts among its members.
