Cameroon head coach, David Pagou, has explained why his team lost to host nation Morocco in their quarter-final clash at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. According to Pagou, the defeat was not only about tactics, but also about missed chances and loss of concentration at key moments.

Speaking after the match, Pagou said Cameroon created good scoring opportunities but failed to convert them into goals.
