The Lagos State Government has dismissed rumours suggesting a disagreement between Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State. The government described the claims as false, misleading, and aimed at causing unnecessary tension between the two neighbouring states.
According to Lagos officials, both governors continue to enjoy a strong working relationship built on cooperation and mutual respect. They noted that Lagos and Ogun regularly work together on economic development, infrastructure, transportation, and security issues that affect residents of both states.
The government explained that the relationship between the two leaders remains cordial and productive, stressing that there has been no disagreement or fallout between them. It warned the public to ignore social media speculation and rely on verified information from official sources.
Lagos authorities added that Sanwo-Olu and Abiodun are committed to regional development and will continue to collaborate for the benefit of people in Lagos, Ogun, and the entire South-West region.
