Ekiti Police Command gets boost as CP Eribo welcomes 31 new ASPs

The Ekiti State Police Command has received a major boost with the deployment of 31 newly promoted Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) to the state. The Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Eribo, formally welcomed the officers and charged them to uphold professionalism and integrity in their duties.

CP Eribo urged the new officers to see their posting as an opportunity to serve the people of Ekiti with discipline, fairness and respect for human rights. He reminded them that the public judges the police by their conduct and encouraged them to be good ambassadors of the force.

He also stressed the importance of teamwork and cooperation with senior officers, traditional rulers and community leaders. According to him, effective policing depends on building trust with citizens and responding promptly to security concerns.

The arrival of the new ASPs is expected to strengthen operations across the state, improve response time to crime and enhance public confidence in the police.
