The Chairman of one of the local government areas in Abia State has visited communities affected by the recent Okon-Aku crisis to sympathise with victims and assess the level of damage. The visit was aimed at showing support to families who were displaced and those who lost property during the unrest.
During the visit, the chairman met with community leaders, elders, and affected residents. He listened to their complaints and assured them that the government would not abandon them. He promised that steps would be taken to restore peace and help the victims return to their normal lives.
