The legal counsel to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Ifeanyi Ejiofor, has raised alarm over what he described as increasing threats to his life. He said the situation has become more serious and worrying, prompting him to speak out publicly.

Ejiofor explained that the threats have been coming from unknown individuals and have grown more frequent in recent times. He expressed concern for his personal safety and that of his family, urging relevant authorities to take the matter seriously.

The lawyer called on security agencies to investigate the threats and provide him with adequate protection. He stressed that no one should be intimidated or harmed for carrying out their professional duties within the law.

Ejiofor also appealed to the public to remain calm and avoid spreading fear or misinformation. He said peace, respect for the law, and protection of lives must remain top priorities for the country.
