Kano: ‘You can’t betray me and succeed’ – Kwankwaso to Gov Yusuf, others

Rabi’u Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano State, has warned Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje Yusuf and other political allies that betrayal will not lead to success in the state’s political landscape. The politician made the remarks during a recent meeting with party supporters.

Kwankwaso emphasized the importance of loyalty and adherence to agreements within the political circle, stating that those who abandon commitments or switch allegiances risk losing credibility and support. He reminded attendees that political victories depend on unity and trust.

The former governor’s comments appear to be aimed at cautioning allies who may be considering defection or aligning with rival parties ahead of upcoming elections. Kwankwaso stressed that loyalty to leadership is crucial for personal and collective political growth.

Supporters present at the meeting echoed Kwankwaso’s sentiments, agreeing that betrayal in politics often backfires. They called on all party members to maintain discipline and uphold the principles that have historically guided their political successes.
