The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has released dedicated hotlines for residents to report uncleared refuse in their communities. This initiative aims to improve sanitation and ensure timely waste management across Abuja.

Officials explained that the hotlines are a direct channel for residents to notify authorities about areas where waste has not been collected, helping the FCTA track and address sanitation issues faster. Residents are encouraged to provide accurate location details when reporting.

FCTA stressed that the initiative is part of a broader effort to maintain cleanliness in the city and reduce health risks associated with uncollected garbage. They assured residents that reports will be prioritized and acted upon promptly.

Authorities also reminded the public to continue proper waste disposal practices, such as segregating biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials, while using the hotlines responsibly to improve the overall efficiency of the sanitation system in the FCT.
